The Entrance Exams are the mode for getting admission into various undergraduate and professional degree courses. The entrance examinations are common at higher levels of education which are conducted by government organisations like NTA, KEA etc. Sometimes the entrance exams are even conducted by the educational institutes and colleges. After clearing the entrance examination students can earn admissions to specialized degrees of their choice. Kinds of Entrance Exam in India

There are different kinds of entrance exams in India for different streams of study, like for technical education we have IIT/JEE, GATE, KCET, for management we have CAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT etc, for medical we have NEET-UG, NEET-PG, NEET-BDS, NEET-MDS etc, for law we have CLAT, LSAT etc.  In some cases many colleges also conduct their own entrance exams to select the students for various courses offered by them.

IIT JEE is Joint Entrance Exam for Architecture & Engineering courses in IITs and NITs of the country. COMEDK or Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka conducts common Entrance Exam for various undergraduate professional courses like engineering and technology courses offered by various private educational institutes in Karnataka.

Architecture Entrance Exam

NATA Exam

The NATA Exam or National Aptitude Test for Architecture is conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA) for admission to the B.Arch undergraduate course offered by architecture colleges across India. The students interested in taking up architecture have to qualify the NATA Exam.

Medical Entrance Exams

NEET UG Exam

The NEET exam is conducted for admission in various departments like Medical, Dental, AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, Sidda, Homoeopathy) courses at undergraduate level for getting admissions in good reputed colleges or institutes, which are MCC approved and recognised by MCI in India and abroad.

NEET PG Exam

CAT

The CAT exam is required to join postgraduate management courses such as MBA or PGDM. The students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any stream can apply for the CAT exam. The Common Admission Test (CAT) exam is conducted by all the IIMs of India every year on rotational basis for the admissions to management courses to these elite colleges of India. KMAT Exam

The KMAT exam is required to join post graduate management courses such as MBA or PGDM. The students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any stream can apply for the  KMAT exam. The KMAT exam is a State Level Entrance Exam for admission to MBA/PGDM courses offered by different colleges of Karnataka. PGCET Exam

The PGCET exam is required to join post graduate management courses such as MBA or PGDM. The students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any stream can apply for the PGCET exam. The PGCET Exam is a state level exam of Karnataka State for getting admissions to different post graduate courses such as MBA/PGDM/MCA/ME/M.Tech offered by Government/University/Private-Aided/Private Unaided professional education institutions of Karnataka.

 

XAT Exam

The XAT exam is required to join post graduate management courses such as MBA or PGDM. The students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any stream can apply for the XAT exam.XAT Exam is one of the oldest entrance exams for management admissions in India. 

The XAT exam is a Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQ) based objective test and is one of the most popular national level management entrance exams in India that is conducted every year for PGDM admissions. The aspiring students can take up XAT exam four times a year and can join the top management colleges in the country. The XAT exam is approved by AICTE and is recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education Government of India.

SNAP Exam

The SNAP exam is required to join post graduate management courses such as MBA or PGDM. The students who have completed their undergraduate degree in any stream can apply for the SNAP exam. The SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude) Test is a national-level management entrance test, conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University, Pune. The SNAP test scores are valid for admission to 15 institutes under Symbiosis University located across India. The SNAP exam scores are also accepted by top MBA/PGDM colleges across the country.

Law Entrance Exams

CLAT Exam

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted for the admissions for law courses in 22 National Law Universities (NLU) and other law colleges across the country. The students who aspire to join law schools have to qualify the CLAT exam. The CLAT exam is conducted by the apex body for law education in the country Consortium of National Law Schools

 

LSAT Exam

The LSAT Exam is conducted by the Law School Admission Council for all the candidates looking for getting admissions to various law courses across India and abroad.
