The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is a mandatory entrance exam for aspiring aspirants who want to join the Undergraduate program of medical and dental course whereas : MBBS and BDS dental. The NEET exam 2026 is mainly conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), this agency is generally responsible for conducting the exam.
Eligibility Criteria for the NEET 2026

Education Qualification:
The aspirants must have completed 10+2 intermediate exams in the subjects like : Physics, Chemistry, Biology with an English language.
Minimum Marks
For the general category candidates must have scored 50% , and for the reserved category candidates like: SC/ST/OBC must have scored 45% .
Age Limit
Candidates must be 17 years old or must have crossed the age before the 31st December 2026.
Number of Attempts
There is no limit for the NEET exam.
Years of passing
Aspirants appearing for the qualifying exam in 2026 can also come ahead and apply for the NEET exam.
Nationality
Indian Nationals, Foreign Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs are also allowed to apply for the exam.
The syllabus for NEET-UG has been finalized and it has been released by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Compared to the last previous year there are no changes in the NEET Syllabus of 2026. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has posted the PDF of the syllabus on the website.

To register the application for NTA NEET 2026, follow the below given application process:
Visit the official website NEET UG 2026 to register.
On the home page, click on the link “login” .
On the new window, complete the login details that were provided to you after done with the registration process and click on the login button.
Complete the required documents in the application form like: personal details to academic details and other details. The candidates need to be attentive during the form fill up. Cross check once after the completion of documents.
Add all the essential documents in the specified format.
Once done with the required information and documents the candidates will be asked to do the final submission of the application form. Check once carefully before submitting the application.
Hereafter , the candidates will be taken to the fees page.
Pay the fees of application online as per the category chosen to successfully submit the form.
Take a xerox of the submitted application form for future purpose.
